So here's the deal:After I take stats this summer, I'll have all the classes I need for my psych degree except for two. However, I still have two years until I graduate. So I've been tossing around just what I want to do with myself. I've been taking a couple of philosophy classes this semester (Ethics and Intro to Philosophical Systems) and have enjoyed them immensely. I've thought about a double major, since it would only require a total of 9 courses. This would mean getting two BAs--one in psychology and one in philosophy. Or, I could get the bachelors of science in psychology, which would be 27 credits in science outside the psychology department. I'm told by many that this is the "practical" route, so I'm considering it, and it has definite advantages, but I think that I would both enjoy and do better grade-wise in the philosophy classes. A third option is just cramming as much gen ed as I can and finishing as quickly as possible, and just take more psych electives over what's required. I also enjoy my psych classes quite a bit, and there's definitely other stuff beyond the requirements that I'd probably have fun taking...as you might guess by the fact that over the course of three semesters and a couple summer sessions, I'll have fulfilled nearly all my requirements ;-)

So there it is. Yes, once again, decide my fate. Hey, it's more fun than flipping a coin, no? Besides a coin only has two sides. And it keeps me busy so that I don't do something crazy, like force my cats to dance to pulp. They wouldn't like that very much.
